History of Shekinah Kingdom Assembly

Shekinah Kingdom Assembly (SKA) is a Spirit-led Christian ministry founded on the principles of prayer, worship, the Word, and the advancement of God's Kingdom. It was birthed out of a deep passion to see revival sweep through communities, especially in the West Nile region of Uganda, where spiritual hunger meets divine purpose. The vision originated as a small gathering of dedicated believers under the umbrella of the Word, Worship, and Prayer (WWP) Network, a movement renowned for its transformative encounters and unwavering commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The journey of Shekinah Kingdom Assembly started in humble settings, meeting in homes, under trees, school compounds, and open fields. What began as fellowship and prayer gatherings quickly evolved into organized programs, including monthly crusades, school outreach initiatives, and impactful community engagement projects. These efforts laid the spiritual foundation for what would later become a fully established ministry. SKA officially began operating as a ministry in the early 2020s and has since grown into a vibrant, spirit-filled congregation with a regional influence.

The ministry's name "Shekinah" reflects the tangible presence and glory of God—something that has consistently marked the assembly's services and meetings. From the start, Shekinah Kingdom Assembly has emphasized the importance of holiness, spiritual empowerment, and biblical teaching. These pillars have shaped the culture and direction of the ministry, attracting people of all ages hungry for a genuine encounter with God. Under the leadership of Frere Dieudonnee and a team of committed servants, SKA continues to thrive as a beacon of light and revival in the land.

A defining feature of SKA has been its passion for the next generation and the marginalized. Through school prayer campaigns, youth conferences, and community empowerment programs, the ministry has reached thousands with the Gospel, not only transforming individual lives but also influencing institutions and families. The ministry also organizes periodic prophetic conferences, leadership trainings, discipleship programs, and revival nights, all geared towards equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

Shekinah Kingdom Assembly maintains an interdenominational and Kingdom-focused outlook. Despite financial and logistical challenges, SKA has remained resilient, trusting God as its ultimate source and provider.
